  1. Log in to cPanel: Access your cPanel account using your login credentials.

  2. Navigate to the 'Domains' section: Look for the 'Domains' section in cPanel and click on it. This section may have a different name depending on your cPanel theme.

  3. Access the 'Zone Editor': Find the 'Zone Editor' icon or link and click on it. This will take you to the Zone Editor interface.

  4. Select the domain: From the list of domains, choose the domain for which you want to add a TXT record.

  5. Add a new record: Within the Zone Editor interface, locate the option to add a new record and click on it.

  6. Choose 'TXT' as the record type: Select 'TXT' from the dropdown menu for the record type.

  7. Enter the TXT details: Fill in the required details for the TXT record:

    • Name: Enter the hostname or domain name for which you want to create the TXT record. This is typically represented by '@' for the domain's root or by a specific subdomain.
    • TTL (Time to Live): Set the TTL value for the record. This determines how long the record remains cached.
    • TXT Data: Enter the text data or value for the TXT record. This could be a verification code, SPF record, or any other text information required by a service provider.
  8. Save the record: Once you've entered the TXT details, click on the 'Add Record' or 'Save' button to create the TXT record.

  9. Verify the record: After saving, verify that the TXT record has been successfully added by reviewing the list of DNS records for your domain.

That's it! You've now successfully created a TXT record for your domain using cPanel.
